BALLE Seattle and Central Co-op present "Get your SLICE! Strengthening Local Independent Co-ops Everywhere," a co-op startup workshop.

It slices! It dices! It's a co-op startup workshop!
Filled with a sense of noble purpose, a distaste for corporate hegemony, and a passion for collective enterprise, you decide to start a co-op. Or maybe you think it might be nice to start a co-op. Either way, brilliant! But how do you actually do it?
This is where SLICE can help. SLICE is a workshop in Seattle for co-op starter-uppers and potential starter-uppers and the merely co-op-curious. It's organized by BALLE Seattle and Central Co-op, of Madison Market fame.
Over the course of a single Saturday, the Puget Sound-region's best and brightest co-op gurus will show you the path to co-op glory, sharing best practices, nitty-gritty details, inspiration and more. The highly interactive program features three topic tracks to choose from so you can tailor your experience to your interests and needs. For a full program preview click here.
All this for only $30!
But wait...there's more! Your ticket includes invaluable networking opportunities, a lunch catered by Central Co-op's Madison Market, coffee and tea from Equal Exchange co-op, and beer from employee-owned Full Sail Brewing Co.
Tickets are on sale now at Brown Paper Tickets for only $30.
