Shop Local First Week Dec 4-10

This holiday season, business districts around the U.S. and Canada will be celebrating with contests, neighborhood events, window posters identifying independent locally owned businesses, and proclamations from local mayors declaring December 4-10 Shop Local First Week.

Shopping doesn't get any more local than this.

In Seattle, BALLE does not have a specific event planned, but we ask that everyone think about buying local when shopping this holiday season. The gift of local is a gift that values our neghborhoods and community. By supporting local artisans, manufacturers, retailers and food producers you are supporting people who, like you, care about the health of the Puget Sound  region.
